How do I cancel an order? 
If you would like to cancel your order, simply call us at (608) 254-7771, toll free at (877) 305-7771, or email your name, address, phone number, and order number to[email protected]. During the shopping process and at the beginning of the checkout process, you can delete any item you choose not to purchase. Simply change the quantity to “0” zero and click on “update shopping cart.”

Do you charge sales tax? 
By law we must charge sales tax on shipments to Wisconsin addresses.

What is your shipping policy? 
We package your candy carefully to ensure it arrives in the same condition in which it left our store. We offer standard, (7-10 business days shipped Monday - Wednesday), expedited (2-3 business days no weekend delivery), and overnight (1 business day no weekend delivery).

What are your shipping costs?
Your purchase is guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition. Our packaging and shipping practices protect your order, even during the warmest weather. As long as the recommended shipping method is selected for the item(s) ordered, should your order NOT arrive in perfect condition or you are not completely satisfied with any of our products, simply return them to us in their original packaging along with the receipt for a prompt and courteous replacement, exchange, or refund. All return expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Warm Weather Packaging

We want to deliver your order in the best condition possible. To accomplish this during warm weather it is necessary to use special "warm weather" packaging for chocolate items.

  • During the warmer summer months we do not ship orders containing chocolate or caramel apples to APO or P.O. box addresses.
  • Orders received on Wednesday that include chocolate coated items or caramel apples will not ship until the following Monday.
  • The above items do not apply to non-chocolate items. Any non-chocolate item will ship great during warmer temperatures such as our fudge, salt water taffy, brittle or crunches, caramels, and caramel corn.

How long will your candy stay fresh?
Fudge and hand-dipped chocolates: These candies will stay fresh at room temperature for up to 2-3 weeks as long as they are kept away from heat and humidity. Avoid direct sunlight and keep sealed between servings.

Caramel Apples: Since these are a fruit product they are perishable. Once they have been dipped they will keep for a maximum of 3 days. To prolong their freshness you can keep them in the refrigerator, however, before eating them we recommend you allow them to reach room temperature as the caramel will be harder to bite into when it is cold. They may keep for 5-7 days in the refrigerator.

Brittle, Crunch and Caramel Corn: These candies will keep 4 weeks if you reseal the bag after each serving. Do not expose these candies to humidity as this will make them become sticky. We don’t recommend keeping them in the refrigerator.

Salt Water Taffy: This candy will keep 4 weeks. We recommend storing it at room temperature as colder temperature will make it harder to chew.

Caramels: We recommend storing our caramels at room temperature. They will keep approximately 2 weeks. If you put them in the refrigerator, however, you should let them reach room temperature before consuming them because the colder temperatures will make them more difficult to chew.

How can I search for a specific item? 
There are three ways to search for a specific item:

1. Type in the item name for the product you are looking for.
2. Enter a keyword that describes the item you are looking for (i.e. taffy, caramel, fudge, etc.) 
3. See a list of all product categories by clicking on the “shop online” button.

Is your online shopping secure? 
We ensure a secure server ordering process with GeoTrust. To make purchases online with us you must allow your computer to accept “cookies” if it asks. Computer “cookies” are safe and are simply the best way for us to offer you the most enjoyable and hassle-free shopping environment.

What is your privacy policy? 
Your privacy is our concern and we want you to have a positive online shopping experience while shopping at We believe you should be informed about the information that is collected and greatly value your patronage and will honor our following commitment.

We collect only the information needed to process your orders and provide a personalized shopping experience. This includes your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number and credit card information. We may have to contact you by phone with a question regarding an order you have placed with us.

If you have signed up for our email program under no circumstances will we reveal or sell to any third party your email address except to the extent necessary to comply with applicable laws, police investigations, or legal proceedings where such information is relevant. What are your hours of operation?
Our store is open 363 days a year. (Closed Christmas and Thanksgiving) Our summer hours are 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. and winter hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our online shopping is available to you 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

You may ask, why order with us? It’s simple. We offer you a unique selection of homemade candies make fresh to order. We use no mixes or artificial preservatives in our candies, and our products are always in stock since we make them ourselves. Therefore, you will never find an item on backorder when you shop with us.

We want you to be completely comfortable while ordering your favorite candies whether it is by mail, online, or phone. Following is a breakdown of the various ways that you may place your order with us.

Please note:  Orders paid with a personal check will not be shipped until the check has cleared the bank.

Orders can be placed online with our GeoTrust certified secured server. Sites secured by GeoTrust offer the highest available level of encryption and security possible. This means that you can rest assured that communications between your browser and our site’s web servers are private and secure.

To place your online order:

1. Select all items and add to your shopping cart. If you change the quantity of an item in your shopping cart click on “update shopping cart.” Once you are finished shopping, click on “checkout” to start the order process.

2. Log into your account or if you are not yet a member and wish to join, click on “register for an Account.” If you would rather purchase without logging in or registering, enter your billing information for the credit card you are going to use. Click on “continue.”

3. If you would like to have your order shipped to a different address, indicate so at this time and complete the shipping information for this recipient. If you wish to have your order shipped other than the method indicated, please select the appropriate box. Remember, Chocolates and Caramel Apples can only be shipped expedited or overnight.

4. Gift Message: Enter your gift message, if desired, and click on “continue.”

5. You will now be on the review page for your order. Please review all of the information to be certain it is correct. If correct, click on “continue.” If you need to make changes, please click on the appropriate “edit” button and change the information needed. When you are certain all of your order information is correct, click on “continue.”

6. Choose your payment method. Click on “continue.”

7. Enter your credit card information. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.

8. Click on “Submit Order.”

You will receive two emails from us regarding your order. The first email is your order receipt to advise you that your order is being processed. The second email is the shipping confirmation that will be sent to you when your order has been shipped providing you with your tracking information.

We do not use artificial preservatives in our candies to prolong shelf life or to make them more chewable regardless of the temperature they are stored at. Therefore, please follow these tips when storing your candy.

For maximum freshness always reseal your packaging between servings. Fudge, unlike hand-dipped chocolates, will not melt in hot weather like a candy bar. It has been cooked and, therefore, it can tolerate warmer temperatures. It may become softer in hotter weather. If you wish to have it firmer, place it in a cool place for about ½ hour and it will return to its original consistency. The heat will not cause it to spoil.

We always keep our candy at room temperature in our store. Nothing is ever refrigerated as this will change the consistency of the candy….especially caramels, salt water taffy, and caramel apples. It will also make the centers of your hand-dipped chocolates more difficult to bite into. Never refrigerate brittle, crunches, or caramel corn as they will become sticky and gummy.

If your candy has been kept in a cold place such as a refrigerator or car in the winter, we suggest allowing it to come to room temperature before eating it. It may be more difficult to chew if it is too cold.
